Our Expertise

Teamwork makes the dream work

Our therapists and psychiatrist work as a team alongside our clients to ensure the highest quality of care.

Our team focuses on creating holistic treatment plans that are based around the client’s personal goals.

We’ve learned that this type of total care provides the best outcome in the lives of our clients!

Medication Management

We provide psychiatric services in a relaxed environment, because we believe mental health services can be a comfortable and positive experience. Our providers focus on the needs of the client and ensure that client’s medications and symptoms are carefully monitored.

Trauma-Focused Counseling

Most of the time depression and anxiety symptoms are rooted in a history of overwhelming, distressing and traumatic events. Recognizing these “traumas” is essential to full recovery. We ensure that your treatment includes this trauma-informed perspective and approach as appropriate.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pay for services?

Depending on your insurance, we can bill your insurance directly.

Some of our therapists are cash/private-pay only.

How much do sessions cost if I'm not using insurance?

Each provider has different pricing. Please contact us directly for the cost of the provider you would liket to see.

What can I expect for my first appointment?

The first session may feel a little like an interview, as your therapist will be asking questions to get a “full picture” of your life and current situation. This is important, as it provides the necessary information for the therapist to know exactly what you’re dealing with, and the best treatment approach to use.

What if I want to refer someone to you?

If you have a friend or family member who may benefit from our services, share our information with them! Only they can take the step to contact us and get set up (unless she/he a minor, in which case the parent/guardian will need to be the one to contact us).

Do I have to see the Psychiatrist if I only want therapy?

No. You can pursue therapy alone, but if your clinician thinks it is a good idea to see the psychiatrist, they will discuss that with you.

Our psychiatrist performs thorough evaluations and medications are carefully discussed as a treatment option before ever being prescribed. If you have concerns about medications, talk to the doctor! No one is a pill-pusher here, but medications can be an essential tool for recovery. We want everyone to feel empowered to be part of the decision making process when it comes to meds.

Do I have to see a Therapist if I only need meds?

This is up to you and the psychiatrist. If he thinks you would benefit from receiving therapy services, he will discuss your options with you. That doesn’t mean you have to receive therapy from our counselors, and we would be happy to refer you elsewhere if we aren’t the perfect fit.

How do you ensure my information is kept private?

We comply with HIPAA regulations by utilizing a secure and encrypted electronic health record system that includes secure fax, phones, email and data storage. Your privacy is important, and we don’t take that lightly. Confidentiality is essential to this work we do!
