When a friend or family member is hurting or struggling with something painful, we often want to comfort them but don’t know the best to do that.

Sometimes words or phrases come out of our mouth that we’ve heard others say to us, and they just seem like the “right thing to say at the time.”

Well, some things aren’t as helpful as others. So we want to learn BETTER ways to say what we mean. Because most of us are good people who want to communicate to others that we care, but we lack the verbiage to do so.
